Com ele, \u00e9 poss\u00edvel descobrir o sexo do seu beb\u00ea a partir da 8\u00aa semana de gesta\u00e7\u00e3o, com uma taxa de 99% de assertividade.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sabendo que o homem possui um padr\u00e3o gen\u00e9tico ligado ao sexo XY e a mulher ao sexo XX, \u00e9 poss\u00edvel fazer uma pesquisa no plasma da m\u00e3e, para identificar fragmentos do cromossomo Y. A presen\u00e7a destes fragmentos indica sexo masculino e sua aus\u00eancia indica sexo feminino. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Este exame s\u00f3 pode ser realizado em pacientes maiores de 16 anos e caso esta seja menor de 18 dever\u00e1 estar acompanhada de um respons\u00e1vel legal\/ tutor com documentos de identifica\u00e7\u00e3o para serem anexados ao exame. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Para este exame o jejum n\u00e3o \u00e9 obrigat\u00f3rio.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><b>Importante: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">No caso de gesta\u00e7\u00e3o gemelar, este teste consegue identificar o sexo de ambos os fetos apenas em caso de gesta\u00e7\u00e3o monozig\u00f3tica (g\u00eameos univitelinos), pois ambos compartilham o mesmo sexo. Por outro lado, se for um caso de g\u00eameos bivitelinos (presen\u00e7a de duas placentas), se for detectado o cromossomo Y isto indica que pelo menos um dos fetos \u00e9 do sexo masculino, n\u00e3o sendo poss\u00edvel garantir se ambos os beb\u00eas s\u00e3o do mesmo sexo ou n\u00e3o.
